Basketball Game Preview: Brewer Witches vs. Cony Rams

Brewer and Cony are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Brewer Witches will head out to take on the Cony Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Brewer is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Hampden just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Broncos 50-44. The loss put an end to the Witches' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Cony beat Nokomis 65-56 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly nine points.

Brewer's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-1. As for Cony, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Brewer strolled past Cony in their previous matchup last Monday by a score of 58-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brewer since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
