Volleyball Game Preview: DeSmet Bulldogs vs. Estelline/Hendricks

The DeSmet Bulldogs will face off against Estelline/Hendricks at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

DeSmet is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since November 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Clark/Willow Lake. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Cyclones recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While DeSmet ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Estelline/Hendricks came up short against Sioux Falls Lutheran on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 15-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Estelline/Hendricks' defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for DeSmet, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
