Basketball Recap: Bronco Bundy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Delta over Canyon View

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon View Falcons. The Rabbits were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Delta lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Bronco Bundy, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kobe Driggs, who earned six points and ten rebounds.

Even though they lost, Delta smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Canyon View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Delta will venture away from home to take on Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Richfield will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Delta surely won't give up without a fight. As for Canyon View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carbon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
