Meanwhile, North Iredell had already won 20 in a row and they went ahead and made it 21 on Wednesday. They blew past the Red Tornadoes 3-0.
While North Iredell won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 26-24.
Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for North Iredell, their win bumped their record up to 24-2.
