Football Game Preview: Truman Mustangs vs. New Utrecht Utes

After each having a week off, the Truman Mustangs and the New Utrecht Utes will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Truman has given up an average of 25.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Friday, Truman ended up a good deal behind Stuyvesant and lost 36-20.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times New Utrecht and Madison had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The matchup between the Utes and the Golden Knights didn't end well, with the Utes falling 28-12. While losing is never fun, the Utes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Golden Knights are ranked 199th).

Truman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for New Utrecht, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.
