Softball Recap: Goldsboro Comes Up Short

If Goldsboro was riding high fresh off their 22-6 takedown of Beddingfield last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Goldsboro came up short against the Princeton Bulldogs on Friday, falling 12-1. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Goldsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Princeton, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4.

While Goldsboro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
