Basketball Game Preview: Shenandoah Mustangs vs. St. Albert Falcons

Shenandoah is 0-10 against St. Albert since January of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Mustangs will be home for the holidays to greet the Falcons at 8:00 p.m. Shenandoah will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Shenandoah will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Clarinda, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Mustangs snuck past the Cardinals with a 42-37 victory on Monday.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when St. Albert challenged Underwood on Monday. The Falcons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 57-54. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

St. Albert's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Shenandoah, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Shenandoah was taken down by St. Albert 73-34 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
