Soccer Recap: Bishop Lynch Comes Up Short

Bishop Lynch entered their contest against Ursuline Academy on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bishop Lynch Friars fell just short of the Ursuline Academy Bears by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in January.

Bishop Lynch's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2-1. As for Ursuline Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-2-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Prestonwood Christian the next time they take the pitch. Ursuline Academy will head out to face Prestonwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Bishop Lynch will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
