Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Edmond North

With a playoff win on the line, Edmond North rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Northwest Classen Knights as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Huskies not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Edmond North took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-5, 25-7.

Edmond North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Prielle Larison, who had 16 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Larison has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Addyson Ricketts, who had six digs and six aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Edmond North was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Edmond North's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-12. As for Northwest Classen, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-11.

Edmond North has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Charles Page on the 14th. Northwest Classen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
