Softball Recap: New Washington Mustangs vs. Southwestern Rebels

New Washington lost against Southwestern back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The New Washington Mustangs lost 19-6 to the Southwestern Rebels. The defeat continues a trend for New Washington in their matchups with Southwestern: they've now lost seven in a row.

For Southwestern's part, Ashley Fulton made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Fulton was even better at the plate, going 3-for-3 with five RBI, a run, and a double.
