The St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers lost against the Pinewood Prep Panthers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. St. John's Christian Academy lost to Pinewood Prep at home by a decisive 56-39 margin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. John's Christian Academy in their matchups with Pinewood Prep: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, St. John's Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Brock Ray, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.

Pinewood Prep was led to victory by Jayden Alexander and Michael Jones. Alexander almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine steals, while Jones scored 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Alexander is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tripp Eidson, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

St. John's Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Pinewood Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

St. John's Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Dorchester Academy at 7:25 p.m. on Friday. St. John's Christian Academy is coming into the matchup with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Dorchester Academy will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Pinewood Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Porter-Gaud at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Porter-Gaud is coming into the contest with four straight wins at home, so Pinewood Prep is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
