Milana D'alessandro leads a balanced attack to beat Locust Valley

Recap: Carle Place Frogs vs. Locust Valley Falcons
The Carle Place Frogs waltzed into their matchup Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 41-30 victory over Locust Valley. This was payback for Carle Place, who suffered a 53-25 loss the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carle Place to victory, but perhaps none more so than Milana D'alessandro, who scored 12 points. D'alessandro is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Leary, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Carle Place's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2. As for Locust Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carle Place will be home for the holidays to greet Oyster Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Locust Valley will be home for the holidays to greet East Rockaway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Rockaway and Locust Valley are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
