Baseball Game Preview: Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors vs. Epping Blue Devils

The Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors will head out to square off against the Epping Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Wilton-Lyndeborough has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wilton-Lyndeborough is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Concord Christian. On the bright side, the 14- run effort marked the Warriors' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Meanwhile, Epping made easy work of Farmington on Wednesday and carried off a 13-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Seth Lecuyer was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Kukesh, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Epping now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
