Union Grove extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Brycen Porter. The Lions claimed a resounding 55-0 win over the Big Sandy Wildcats with plenty of help from Porter, who threw for 99 yards and a pair of touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing, and also rushed for 40 yards. His passing game has become a key predictor of Union Grove's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

Union Grove didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Konner Long, Andy Peck, and Hudson Wightman picked up one apiece. Long got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Union Grove, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Wightman, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Union Grove's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Big Sandy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Union Grove nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
