Dorman put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 73-62 win over the Independence Patriots.

Independence lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Christan Jones, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 14 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lusemo Macharia, who posted nine points and eight rebounds.

Dorman's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Dorman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-43 win against Central Cabarrus on the 6th. As for Independence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-70 victory against James F. Byrnes on the 6th.
