Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Cougars vs. Harriton Rams

The Springfield Cougars will face off against the Harriton Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harriton took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Springfield, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Springfield challenged Penncrest on Thursday. Springfield slipped by Penncrest 34-33. The 34-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Harriton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 36-31 to Strath Haven. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springfield pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Harriton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Springfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Harriton in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 40-37. Does Springfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harriton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
