Basketball Recap: Enosburg Falls Comes Up Short

Enosburg Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Middlebury Tigers. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 55-51 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Enosburg Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Middlebury, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Enosburg Falls will square off against Mt. Abraham at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Enosburg Falls is facing Mt. Abraham at the right time seeing as Mt. Abraham is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Middlebury, they will face off against Missisquoi Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Middlebury will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
