Gulliver Prep came out on top against Archbishop Carroll on Monday thanks in part to Jordyn Mullen's efforts. Mullen didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Mullen and Gulliver Prep are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: Gulliver Prep will face off against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
