Softball Recap: Poinciana Eagles vs. Ridge Community Bolts        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Poinciana gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. They blew past the Ridge Community Bolts 19-4. The high-scoring effort was just what Poinciana needed considering they were shutout in their previous   matchup.
  Savannah Alsen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out nine batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   two  hits. Alsen was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Mayra Saez was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Keyanna Stanley, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 On Ridge Community's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jayla Jackson, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Poinciana's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Ridge Community, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
 Poinciana will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Celebration at 6:00  p.m. As for Ridge Community, they will head out on the road to  take on  Winter Haven at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Ridge Community is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.6  runs per game  this season.
