Basketball Recap: Coleman Drops Season-High Score on Farwell

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coleman). They came out on top against the Farwell Eagles by a score of 48-41 on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Coleman's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Klaira Sysak, who went 6-for-11 on her way to 13 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Sysak a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Allen, who posted 16 points.

Coleman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Coleman's win bumped their record up to 3-16. As for Farwell, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Looking ahead, Coleman will take on St. Charles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Farwell, they will face off against Bullock Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
