Recap: St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse vs. Garfield-Palouse Vikings
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse were the 68-48 winner over the Garfield-Palouse Vikings when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 54-36 to Garfield-Palouse.
When it comes to explaining why St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse lost, one person who can't be blamed is Birch Brown. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season.
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1. As for Garfield-Palouse, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Wilbur-Creston-Keller at 5:00 p.m. on December 16th. As for Garfield-Palouse, they will head out on the road to face off against St. John-Endicott at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
