Softball Recap: Central York Panthers vs. Penn Manor Comets
With a playoff game on the line, Central York rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the Penn Manor Comets as they made off with a 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for Central York, who have now won ten games by nine runs or more so far this season.
Brooklyn Shaffer was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Heap, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
The victory (which was Central York's sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-8. As for Penn Manor, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
As of now, neither Central York nor Penn Manor have any future games scheduled.
