Scott Central took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the French Camp Academy Panthers 57-8. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Scott Central found their leader in sophomore Baleigh Lyles, who posted nine points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Av'Anna James, who scored eight points.

French Camp Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Scott Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-27 win against Mendenhall on the 8th. As for French Camp Academy, they will challenge Noxapater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
