Basketball Recap: Providence Classical Christian Comes Up Short

Providence Classical Christian lost against Scholars Guild Academy back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Providence Classical Christian Warriors came up short against the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans, falling 68-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since December 10, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Scholars Guild Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nicholas Fagan, who went 9 for 17 en route to 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The game was Fagan's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Henry Rumble, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 20 points and six boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Providence Classical Christian and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Scholars Guild Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Providence Classical Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-51 defeat against Milledgeville Athletic Club on the 24th. As for Scholars Guild Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-54 loss against Trinity Prep on the 24th.
