Basketball Recap: John Paul II Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

The Guardians needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Dj Miller. The John Paul II Guardians strolled past the John Paul II Centurions with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 75-59 thanks in part to Miller, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and ten assists. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of the Guardians' points.

The Guardians' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for the Centurions, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

The Guardians will head out to face off against the Angels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Guardians are strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season. As for the Centurions, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Knights at 7:30 p.m.
