Basketball Recap: Newcastle Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Newcastle can now relate to. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 44-30 to the Glenrock Herders. The Dogies just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Newcastle's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Glenrock, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

Coincidentally, Newcastle and Glenrock will both be playing Buffalo the next time they take the court. Glenrock will head out to face Buffalo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Newcastle will host them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
