Basketball Recap: Josiah Wilson Key Part of a Team Effort in Bobcats Win

Bosque's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They strolled past the East Mountain Timberwolves with points to spare, taking the game 62-44. The Bobcats pushed the score to 52-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Timberwolves cut but never quite recovered from.

Bosque's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josiah Wilson, who went 6 for 9 on his way to 13 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Luca Kalishman was another key player, going 7 of 13 en route to 15 points and four steals.

Bosque's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for East Mountain, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.

Bosque won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cottonwood Classical Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Mountain, they will face off against Sandia Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
