Softball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Freedom's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Watauga Pioneers on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Freedom saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rumi Campbell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Watauga, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Freedom nor Watauga have any future games scheduled.
