Preview: Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish vs. Casady Cyclones
The Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish will be playing in front of their home fans against the Casady Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Casady took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop McGuinness, who comes in off a win.
Bishop McGuinness had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their matchup on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 62-34 win over Glenpool.
Meanwhile, Casady suffered a rough 72-50 loss at the hands of Oklahoma Christian on Friday.
Despite the defeat, Casady saw an underclassman step up: Kaden Leache scored 24 points. Leache scored a full 48% of Casady's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Bryson Buckingham, who scored 17 points.
Bishop McGuinness' victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Casady, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
