Grand Lake typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday South Beauregard proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Hornets. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

South Beauregard is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Grand Lake, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Beauregard will welcome Vinton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand Lake, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lacassine at 1:00 p.m.
