Baseball Recap: Ouachita Christian Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Ouachita Christian's offense. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (10-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ouachita Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for West Monroe, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5-1.

Looking ahead, Ouachita Christian will challenge Cedar Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Creek will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Ouachita Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Monroe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ouachita Parish at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Monroe is facing Ouachita Parish at the right time seeing as Ouachita Parish is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
