Volleyball Recap: Western Wayne Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Western Wayne won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Western Wayne was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-12.

Vincent Silon paced Western Wayne's offense, picking up 13 kills. Silon got some help from Theo Black and his 17 assists. Silon was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Western Wayne pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Mountain View, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
