The Lakers found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 47-27 punch to the gut against New Buffalo on Friday.
Meanwhile, Berrien Springs strolled past Comstock with points to spare on Friday, taking the contest 41-25. Senior Hillary Dortch (17 points) was the top scorer for Berrien Springs. This also makes it nine games in a row in which Dortch has had at least three steals.
Lake Michigan Catholic is now 10-8 while Berrien Springs sits at 7-11. The Shamrocks are 2-4 after wins this season, and Lake Michigan Catholic is 4-3 after losses.
