After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest, Kearney Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Norfolk Panthers with a sharp 8-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Stars, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Raegan Ruyle made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. Ruyle was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
