Baseball Recap: South Mecklenburg Sabres vs. Ballantyne Ridge Wolves
South Mecklenburg won the last time they faced Ballantyne Ridge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sabres walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Wolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sabres.
South Mecklenburg got a great performance from Brayden Bartholomew as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Bartholomew has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
