Burns won the last time they faced Vale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hilanders came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 6-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Hilanders, who have now won four games in a row.

Burns' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Vale, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burns will square off against Heppner/Ione at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hilanders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vale, they will take on Nyssa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
