Fort Payne has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the tenth. They came up short against the Pelham Panthers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Fort Payne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pelham, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That lines up perfectly with their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Payne will challenge Randolph School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pelham, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Pelham take on the Northridge at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Northridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Pelham surely won't give up without a fight.
