Recap: Nova Titans vs. South Plantation Paladins
The Nova Titans had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past South Plantation 30-9. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Nova just coasted through the last quarter.
Among those leading the charge was Branden Natson, who threw for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Erik Mccall jr got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
The team's defense also helped out by holding South Plantation to a paltry 242 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Nova's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out six times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Djuvens "dj" ambroise and his two sacks.
Nova's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for South Plantation, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Nova will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Joaquin Garcia is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for South Plantation, they will head out on the road to face off against Cypress Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Bay presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Plantation in Florida (Cypress Bay is ranked 161st, while South Plantation is ranked 438th).
