Softball Recap: Bel Air Comes Up Short

Bel Air lost against El Dorado back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Highlanders came up short against the Aztecs, falling 19-8. The Highlanders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Riley Garner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 2-for-4. Anabella Villagrana was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Bel Air's defeat dropped their record down to 5-24. As for El Dorado, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8.

Coming up, Bel Air will host Americas at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trail Blazers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight. As for El Dorado, they are taking a road trip to challenge Horizon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Aztecs are facing the Scorpions at the right time seeing as the Scorpions are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
