Joaquin waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Kennard Tigers by a score of 8-4. With that win, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Joaquin got a big performance out of Karson Rogers, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Rogers also put up a stolen base, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kason Stanaland, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Joaquin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kennard, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Joaquin will challenge Martinsville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Joaquin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Kennard, they will square off against Colmesneil at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
