Lafayette Christian Academy came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ponchatoula Green Wave. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Green Wave, too.

Lafayette Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Dimi Batiste, who had nine assists and five digs.

Lafayette Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Ponchatoula, they moved to 13-5 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-match winning streak.

Lafayette Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Hahnville on the 4th. As for Ponchatoula, they will head out on the road to face off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
