Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Has No Trouble Against FAMU DRS

Lincoln won the last time they faced FAMU DRS and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Baby Rattlers with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lincoln took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-9.

Mackenzie Poppell paced Lincoln's offense, picking up 13 kills. Poppell got some help from Savannah Weiss and her 20 assists. Weiss was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for FAMU DRS, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Lincoln will face off against Rickards at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for FAMU DRS, they will challenge Maclay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
