Baseball Recap: Pellston Sets Scoring Season-High Against Mackinaw City

Pellston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-4 to the Mackinaw City Comets. On the bright side, the four- run performance marked the Hornets' highest-scoring match to date.

Pellston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mackinaw City, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Pellston will take on Inland Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mackinaw City, they will challenge Alanson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
