Recap: Waccamaw Warriors vs. Manning Monarchs
The Waccamaw Warriors''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Manning 48-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Waccamaw in their matchups with Manning: they've now lost four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Waccamaw lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zaireon Skinner. Despite the final result, he rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also caught a touchdown. Skinner was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards. Another player making a difference was Adrian Grate jr, who rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Waccamaw's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Manning, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
Waccamaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Manning is on the road again on Friday and play against Philip Simmons at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. Philip Simmons has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 447 points over their last ten games.
