Football Recap: South San Francisco Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mills, South San Francisco was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Jefferson Grizzlies a 7-0 shutout.

South San Francisco now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

South San Francisco will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on San Mateo at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. The Bearcats' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Jefferson, they will square off against Sequoia at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
