The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Broncos had established a 22 point advantage.

It was another big night for Brooke Kesey, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 boards. Cydney Perry was another key player, putting up four points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Boyd Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Dickson Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Franklin Road Christian and fell 62-22. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Dickson Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Boyd Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Everything came up roses for Boyd Christian against Dickson Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-21 win. In that game, Boyd Christian amassed a halftime lead of 42-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
