Softball Recap: West Bloomfield Takes a Loss

West Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 18-2 to the Groves Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-8 on Wednesday.

West Bloomfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was MORGAN CHRISTIAN, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was CHRISTIAN's first of the season.

West Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Groves, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Bloomfield will host Oak Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Lakers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Groves, they will challenge Avondale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
