            Football Recap: Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves vs. Mullen Broncos        
        
		
        
        
            Maywood/Hayes Center extended their losing streak  (dating back to last season) to seven  on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-2. They took a hard  35-16 fall against the Mullen Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the  36-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2024.
 Although Maywood/Hayes Center took the loss, they still got scores from  Sawyer Dibbern and  Oliver Anders.
As for Mullen, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 24  points this season.
 Mullen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Brandon Hardin led the charge by rushing for 96 yards and one  TD.
 Coming up, Maywood/Hayes Center will face off against Maxwell at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Mullen, they will look to defend their home field  on  the 12th against North Central  at 6:30  p.m.
