Baseball Game Preview: Wauseon Indians vs. Pettisville Blackbirds

The Wauseon Indians will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Pettisville Blackbirds at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wauseon is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Wauseon lost 8-2 to Fairview on Friday.

Meanwhile, Pettisville never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Gorham Fayette. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Blackbirds considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The team relied heavily on Creighton Aeschliman, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Aeschliman is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Pettisville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wauseon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
