Alvarado came up big in Jefferson's 18-11 win
Jefferson was led to victory by AJ Alvarado, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Tuesday. Alvarado was dynamite, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Alvarado and Jefferson will head out on the road to face off against Dawson School at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson has not beaten Dawson School recently, having gone 0-3 since April of 2017.
